Dr Ian Wallace graduated from the University of Adelaide Medical School in 1974. He undertook residency and general surgical basic training in Perth, Western Australia, through Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. In 1978, he took up a position at the University of Toronto, Canada, for advanced Specialist training in Otolaryngology. He completed this with a year of research in 1982 before returning to Perth.
Otolaryngology encompasses all the surgery of the head and neck region to include both functional and aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery of the ears, nose, throat, face and neck. Dr Wallace is accredited by examination with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology. Dr Wallace has been in practice in Perth since 1983 with his private office in Cottesloe. He operates at Subiaco Private Hospital, South Perth Hospital and St John of God Hospital in Bunbury. He consults in Cottesloe, Subiaco and Bunbury.
